The Ecosystem Flywheel
1Edge is designed as a closed feedback loop. Each part of the platform feeds the next, so activity compounds rather than leaking out. Understanding this flywheel is the fastest way to understand why the platform's mechanics are shaped the way they are.
The loop
Stage by stage
1. Creator deployments
Verified creators launch tokens through Edge or EdgeTek mode. Every deployment seeds the ecosystem with a new market and a new community.
2. Active trading volume
Each token lives inside the trading terminal and is exposed through the Edge Social feed, where discovery turns into volume. Verified humanity means that volume reflects real participants, not wash-trading scripts.
3. Dynamic fee generation
Every trade generates fees. In Edge mode a fixed share compounds into liquidity; in EdgeTek mode the creator configures how fees split between liquidity, buyback-and-burn, and their own vault. See Custom Tokenomics.
4. LP compounding & developer payouts
Fees don't just disappear — they are routed back into the system:
- LP compounding continuously deepens each token's liquidity, making every subsequent trade smoother and the market more resilient.
- Developer payouts reward creators directly, giving them a reason to keep building and supporting their token post-launch.
5. Account tier multipliers
Trading volume and referrals push every account up the tier system, unlocking higher fee rebates and point multipliers. Higher rebates mean cheaper trading, which encourages more volume — closing the loop and feeding back into the top.
Why it compounds
Each rotation of the flywheel leaves the ecosystem stronger than the last: deeper liquidity, more engaged creators, cheaper trading for active users, and a growing base of verified humans. Because the loop is self-reinforcing, growth in any one stage lifts all the others.
